Cavalier Rifle and Pistol Club will offer an Introduction to Bullseye and Precision Pistol Clinic on September 26, 2026. The class is open to club members and the public. The clinic will run from 9 AM – 4 PM.

Bullseye is excellent training and cross training for other competitions ranging from Practical Pistol, Steel Challenge and IDPA to the Olympic pistol disciplines. Learn what you need to know to get a smooth start in Bullseye. We will have classroom time followed by time on the Range using the Turning Target system.

The class will cover:
            • What equipment do you need?
            • How do you find matches?
            • How does a match run

            • Where can you find resources to help you improve
            • What are the keys to accurate pistol shooting, (one handed or two)

            • Why do some top level shooters make the statement:

Fast is fine…
Accuracy is Final!

For the class you will want to bring eye and ear protection, a 22 target pistol if you have one, at least 300 rounds of 22 LR standard velocity ammunition, and a positive attitude. Pistols must be brought to the range unloaded in a bag or box. We will have a limited number of pistols available for loans on the day of the class on a first come first served basis. Participants needing a loaner gun will need to provide the ammunition for the clinic. Empty Chamber indicators will be used and will be available if you don’t have one.

No handling of firearms except on the firing line at the command of the match director.

Cost: $100 for the class.
